Skater Bio: Just like most of the Minxters I skated when I was younger. As a child I had the plastic skates you attach to shoes and thought I was amazing skating up and down the hallway. As I got older I got a pair of inline skates but after a year or 2 they just got thrown in a cupboard. I then found skating again when you guessed it I saw whip it. The second I saw it I wanted to find a team and join. I was so excited when I found out that York had a team. October 2013 I went to a fresh meat intake and I have never looked back. I have found a hobby and a sport that I love. Also a great group of people that I love to see in and out of practice. Joining the York Minxters is by far the best thing I ever did.
Favourite position: I enjoy blocking the most mainly on the inside or the outside. I am up for giving jamming a go even though it's not my strong point.
Proudest Derby Moment: This has to be playing my first public bout against Nottingham. It was such a good feeling to be on track with my friends doing what we do best. Oh and winning was a bonus :)
Worst Injury: This has to be a toss up of getting my fingers skated over or being hit in the ribs (legally) and getting winded by DURBINATOR. No hard feelings though :)
tarted Skating: October 2013
Song To Skate To: This is a hard one it would depend on my mood anything with a good heavy rhythm.
Alter ego: Chef if a pub is what gives me money for derby and comics and games. I am one big nerd :)
